(May Contain Spoilers)
I was surprised by this episode as I was waiting for something major to happen with Andre Layton (Daveed Diggs) leading an uprising and the information about Melanie (Jennifer Connelly) being Wilford and this was it, but as the series had come to a sails pace I didn’t think we were ever going to have it! I thought this series had some great action scenes and a real sense of liberation from both first class and third/tail. I am excited to see what happens in the following episodes as Melanie is in 20 eps so she can’t be killed!
What We Learnt:
Miles (Jaylin Fletcher) opens up the engine room to LJ (Annalise Basso) for her to see for herself that there is NO MR.Wilford
LJ reports back for 1st class that there is no Wilford
Ruth (Alison Wright) doesn’t believe it so goes to see for herself and is disappointed
Melanie has a daughter who froze on her way to getting the train
Melanie is locked up and ready to be executed
Melanie confesses to Ruth that she kept it secret but tries to explain why
With the uprising in First, Layton collects the tail and third to go and attack the engine to take over
There are bloody battles between the trains men and third/tail
It looks like not a lot happened, but this throughout the whole episode and seeing the betrayal on all of the characters faces and seeing how this has affected them, with the additional revolution starting down train with a union coming together to take over the train was A LOT!
