(May Contain Spoilers)
The finale had what you would want with a half conclusive ending that summed up the main storyline but left it open for another series. There was a lot more gun power in this episode and a lot less combat fighting, which I sadly missed and think that is what makes Hanna exciting. Marissa (Mireille Enos) comes out on top and Hanna (Esme Creed-Miles) triumphs. I wasn’t expecting the moment at the end where Clara (Yasmin Monet Prince) is reunited with her mother and I think that was a nice touch, however it took Clara the same amount of time to travel from Barcelona to Morocco that it did Hanna to drive from the airport to a villa! John (Dermot Mulroney) was found out to be the one who let the list slip and from what I gather the list is considered of males around the same age as the girls and I assume it is a male UTRAX and they will send the girls to exterminate them.
What We Learnt:
Hanna, Clara and the daughter escape to a Barcelona villa to hide out
Hanna goes back to the Hotel to retrieve the list document
Leo (Anthony Welsh) visits Sandy (Aine Rose Daly) and tells her to go to her lecture
The police turn up to the lecture and question her as she was the last person to see the daughter
John turns up to the hotel and speaks to the police saying he is with the CIA so that he can check for the briefcase containing the list
Terri (Cherrelle Skeete) is tasked with finding out if Clara makes contact with anyone
Sandy and John meet and he says how proud of her he is
Clara takes the hostages laptop to contact her mother and arranges to meet with her
The daughter gets scared and the hostage asks her to set off the alarm
Hanna goes to the hotel and retrieves the list
The people helping Marissa are double agents working for John and tell him Hanna is in the building
A journalist who the list was supposed to go to tries to take it but is shot, but before she dies she tells Hanna that the list is needed for a biggest cause
Hanna runs away from the shoot out and finds Marissa
Hanna recognises the woman helping to be a double agent and another shoot out
Hanna opens up the list to find a list of young men’s names as the targets
Leo is told about the alarm and goes to the villa
Leo tries to take out Clara along with John
John accidentally shoots Leo instead
Hanna makes her way back to the villa and shoots John
Hanna takes Clara and the daughter to the airport
Hanna and Clara await Marissa next action but Clara says she wants to go and see her mother
Sandy is called back to the Meadows as her task is complete
Terri finds out that Clara contacted and is planning to meet her mother but deletes the message and keeps it secret
Marissa makes a deal with John and says she won’t tell his bosses that it was him that let the list slip if he gets them back into the Meadows for them to take down a group of pioneers who created the list
Clara meets up with her mother in Morocco
Hanna makes her way back to the villa and the series concludes
