HUNTERS Episode 7 - RECAP 💎💎💎💎

(May Contain Spoilers)

This episode was highly tense, and I loved the action in it, I felt that there was something at stake for all the characters. The moments with Murray and Mindy are particularly becoming my favourite, they are standing in front of the man who killed there son and the torture with not knowing what to do about it or how they want to do it to respect their sons memory. The lead up to the explosions are grand, I was on the edge of my seat throughout this whole episode. The only qualm I have is with the carriage explosion because it only blew up one and I would have thought it would have been more powerful than that.

What We Learnt:

· Travis (Greg Austin) dumps a parcel outside Millie’s (Jerrika Hinton) door containing information on the Nazi’s, which Meyer (Al Pacino) has been hunting

· Millie goes to Chief Grimsby (James Le Gros) and tells him about the parcel, and he tells her to tell the judge what they want to hear in order to get a permit

· Flashback to 1968 show Ruth (Jeannie Berlin) telling Jonah (Logan Lerman) a story about how she escaped the war and met his grandad

· Jonah, Joe (Louis Izawa) and Lonny (Josh Radnor) go to find information on a Timothy Randall and have to attend a veteran meeting to get the information, where Lonny gets found out he is an actor and Joe saves him by telling a true story about a traumatic event whilst in the army

· Joe and Lonny find information out about Randall and think he is ‘the ghost’ they have been looking for so go to his house with Jonah

· Joe, Lonny, and Jonah go into his house when a lady leaves and find that he has a strange cancer and is on life support

· The woman comes home and Jonah – stupidly and irrationally – jumps out at this woman with a gun and she runs away

· Meanwhile Mindy (Carol Kane) and Murray (Saul Rubinek) are still trying to come to terms that Moritz (Ronald Guttman) is in their basement and how to kill him for revenge of their son

· Back at HQ, Jonah, Joe, and Loony return with information and items from the ghost’s house, one being a music box

· Jonah discovers that the music box is the key to breaking the code that was being transmitted and find out that they translate into co-ordinates

· The hunters figure out that there is a bomb being dropped at two destinations in New York City that night and they think that it contains a biological weapon, the one that was used on the ghost

· Millie turns up at Meyer’s house with FBI agents and searches the premises to find more documents that would lead him to the murders of the Nazi’s and Millie (without proof) arrests Meyer

· Jonah rushes over to Murray’s and Mindy’s house to ask them to help with preventing the attack and tell them Meyer has been arrested

· Joe rushes over to Roxy’s to tell her to get out of the city tonight with her kid to save them

· Meyer gets interrogated by Millie and eventually off the record asks for his help in building the case

· Meyer confesses that he knows the Nazi’s are going to be attacking New York tonight, Millie doesn’t believe him, and Meyer starts going crazy warning her that the blood shed tonight will be on her hands

· Meanwhile Biff (Dylan Baker) helped signed and pass the bill for the shipments to come in, but goes home to see his mother-in-law shot in cold blood and an assassin tries to kill him but he manages to kill the assassin first

· Jonah, Lonny, and Murray go to Grand Central Station, where they spot Travis and follow him into a train

· Travis carries a red backpack and chains it to the subway carriage and walks back out

· Jonah and Murray are too late to escape, but Lonny manages to get off and follow Travis

· Mindy, Harriet (Kate Mulvany) and Joe go to the power plant to find the woman who Jonah didn’t shoot carrying a red backpack too, luckily Harriet shots her before she kills Joe

· Murray and Jonah go to inspect the bag and find there is a bomb inside it, Murray asks Jonah to get all of the passengers in the carriage down the train while he tries to defuse the bomb

· Murray fails to defuse the bomb and just before the time ticks, he sees his dead son and holds out his hand to take it. The carriage explodes!

· Lonny is still chasing down Travis who manages to distract him with the bomb explosion and Travis stabs Lonny in the darkness

· The explosion goes off at the power factory and it turns the city to darkness

· Nazi’s are in a disguised truck travelling somewhere…

Really enjoyed where this episode took us as we are only on episode 7/10, so the plot is building whilst other storylines are happening with each Hunter, which is great to see and keeps you on your toes. I’m excited to see what the Nazi’s bigger plot is and I think this episode is a great indication of where the series is going.
