(May Contain Spoilers)
The ending of this episode got very fiery!!!! I was so shocked by the end and think Travis (Greg Austin) is so sneaky and I love to hate his character. I am still not certain on Sister Harriet (Kate Mulvany) is she with the Nazi’s or the Jews, I’m quite confused and maybe am not getting all the hidden symbols.
What We Learnt:
· Harriet looks like she is working with the Nazi’s after kidnapping the Nazi for the 4th of July party
· The hunters take a small break whilst thinking of other leads as Mindy (Carol Kane) and Murray (Saul Rubinek) have their daughter’s marriage coming up and they all want to attend
· Jonah goes to see his friend as he is criticised for not attending his friend’s funeral after he got killed pretending to be him, Jonah tells his friends about the group and that their friend was killed because of him
· Millie (Jerrika Hinton) meets with Danny (Miles G. Jackson) again who puts her in touch with his rat and warns her to be careful because the FBI might be in on it
· Millie finds out from the source that Nazi’s were brought into America by the government and it was called operation paperclip, the source warns her not to mess with the Nazi’s as they will take everyone she loves, therefore she dumps her girlfriend
· Joe (Louise Ozawa) visits a friend from the war who is in a mental institution to ask him about the person that tortured him, as he thinks that might be the ghost, they are looking for
· Lonny (Josh Radnor) took a book from the politician’s house and gets it translated and it is a story about making over the human race and the Nazi’s used it like a bible
· Travis killed The Colonel’s (Lena Olin) two (out of three) sons, but blames it on Meyer, so Tobias (Jonno Davies) – her last son – to go and kill him, she also tells him not to be so weak
· Meanwhile Harriet has a flat tyre, but the Nazi she rescues tries to hit her with a wretch, so she hits him and chucks him into the boot
· Mindy and Murray get underway with their daughter’s wedding, but whilst walking her down the aisle Murray has a PTSD moment flashback to the camps where his son was taken from him and shoot in front of his eyes
· From the bits of information that they have the Hunters figure out that the Nazi’s are planning a fourth Reich in America
· Harriet arrives at the wedding and Joe goes ape shit at her, because she left Jonah and him for dead
· Harriet gives the Nazi in her trunk to Mindy and Murray as a wedding present as it is the same Nazi who shoot their son in front of their eyes
· Meyer goes home to find that Travis and Tobias have broken into his house and have set fire to their Nazi library and they try to save what they can
I thought this episode really started to show the lives of the people in the Hunters group more personally and what their intensions were for joining the group, like Murray’s son being shot in front of him and Harriet’s background. I think Travis is playing an interesting game as he is not killing Meyer straight up but is torturing him, which is unusual but makes me want to know his end game even more.
