(May Contain Spoilers)
This episode began to open up different avenues where the story could go down but didn’t end up explaining them, so I hope more is revealed and the plot thickens! The episode opened in 1976 Paraguay where there were some experiments on children which got them dead. Sister Harriet (Kate Mulvany) in this episode goes rogue and we find out more about her, as well as Joe’s (Louise Ozawa) PTSD moment flashbacking to a war.
What We Learnt:
· There are some experiments on children which get them dead in 1976 Paraguay
· Meyer (Al Pacino) talks with Jonah (Logan Lerman) telling him a story about the camps where the Wolf tortured him because of Ruth (Jeannie Berlin)
· The hunters decide to target a political who they think is a Nazi
· Millie (Jerrika Hinton) meets with Danny (Miles G. Jackson) who tells her about the Nazi’s living in America and he had some information from the inside
· Biff (Dylan Baker) tries to get one over on The Colonel (Lena Olin) so goes against the bill they were trying to pass in office
· The Colonel contacts Biff and he then tries to take back what he said in office to get the bill passed
· Jonah, Harriet, and Joe go to find Dieter (Raphael Sbarge) and torture him and find out there are more Nazi’s at his 4th of July party
· Joe freezes before shooting Dieter as the fireworks PTSD him into remembering a war he was in
· Dieter confesses that he was a Nazi but not anyone and he was, brought here by the American government for their brains and gave them residency in exchange
· Harriet steals a Nazi and tells him about the Jewish club trying to kill him, leaving Joe and Jonah at the fourth of July party with the murdered bodies
· Flashbacks to Harriet’s childhood show that she was a kid sent off to Britain to miss the war and was called Rebekah, but was renamed to Harriet for her protection
· Meyer, Roxy (Tiffany Boone), and Lonny (Josh Radnor) go to the politician’s house and force feed her horse pooh to make her confess that she is a Nazi, but she doesn’t, and Meyer kills her before she says something about him
· Travis (Greg Austin) is tasked with putting a car bomb in Meyers car
· When Meyer, Roxy, and Lonny go to the car, the chauffeur turns the engine and it explodes, Travis tries to kill them, but they escape, and the police come
· Millie and Danny arrange to meet up with his source, but she is ambushed when she goes into the toilets and is beaten saying to not look into it any further
I felt that this episode teased us with some interesting information including Meyers background, the politician suggested that he might have been a traitor. As Meyer shoots her without the correct procedure that they go by the rest of the crew begin to change their opinions of him, leading Roxy to quit the Hunter’s group. I’m interested to see how close Travis gets to Meyer as his attempted murder didn’t fully go to plan!
