(May Contain Spoilers)
This episode kept with the same ridiculous comedic elements with Lonny (Josh Radnor) giving a ‘how to know a Nazi is a Nazi’ guide. The storyline is progressing, and it is the same thing that I just want to get on with, the characters knowing that everything is linked! This episode sees Mindy (Carol Kane) and Murray (Saul Rubinek) crack the broadcast code and hear that here is Morse code under the song. Flashbacks reveal more about Ruth (Jeannie Berlin/ Annie Hagg) in the concentration camps.
What We Learnt:
· Jonah (Logan Lerman) quits the Hunter’s group
· Half the hunters are sent to survey the Nazi house who they killed the night before. Lonny thinks he sees someone in the house, despite them parked in front of the house the whole night
· The hunters go into the house and find the body of the Nazi had been cleared up and even the bullet hole
· A woman is in the broadcast room and Roxy (Tiffany Boone) gets trapped in there with her and Roxy kills the lady
· Jonah gets a visit from Levi (Chip Zien) who talks to Jonah about his will and tells him a story of how Ruth saved a woman’s life that is he wife
· Flashbacks show Ruth try to go to the toilet in the night, in the camps, but sees a Nazi kill three young women and another woman comes out the bedroom and he turns his gun to her but Ruth walks up and presses her head to his gun, but he doesn’t shoot her
· Travis (Greg Austin) keeps an eye on Millie (Jerrika Hinton), stalking her and her girlfriend
· Jonah meanwhile re-joins his friends and smokes weed and keeps seeing his death grandmother in her camp uniform
· Millie tries to get some information from another detective about over 50’s ‘war veteran’s and tells him she thinks there are Nazi’s living in America, he tells her of another recent murder
· Millie goes to the murder of the Wolf and Travis, disguised in police uniform, goes into the crime scene, and finds Jonah’s jacket and rips his name out. Millie asks for the jacket
· Millie finds photos of Ruth at the crime scene
· Travis calls The Colonel (Lena Olin) who tells him to keep watching her as she might lead them to the person(s) killing their kind
· Harriet speaks with someone claiming ‘they are getting closer’ on a payphone outside, who is she talking to?
· Jonah visits Mindy and Murray to find out more about Meyer (Al Pacino) and Ruth
· Murray and Mindy try to decode the tapes they got from the Nazi’s house and discover Morse code underneath which contain dates
· Mindy and Murray find that these dates relate to murders of famous people, like Bobby Kennedy and that there is a future date – two weeks from them
· Millie goes to a Rabi and finds out who Ruth is and about Jonah
· Sister Harriet (Kate Mulvany) finds that the two Nazi’s they killed have matching keys, perhaps to a safety deposit box
· Travis goes to Jonah’s house and finds it empty as seconds before Jonah went over to road to Carol’s (Ebony Obsidian) and she walks him to work as he is late for his shift
· Arthur/Bootyhole (Caleb Emery), Jonah’s friend, is waiting for Jonah to arrive to take over
· Travis turns up at the shop, after seeing Jonah’s work schedule on his bedroom wall, and meets Arthur
· Arthur tells Travis he is Jonah and despite being able to distract Travis and stabbing him in the hand, Travis manages to shoot Arthur before he has time to escape
· Jonah arrives as Travis is leaving, seeing his face and rushes in to help Arthur
I am very shocked by this episode with another death of someone close to Jonah but think that is good for the drama, as I am not sure what could happen, we might go into the next episode and Meyer dies! This series is definitely not a predictable one, which makes it a very exciting watch and Millie is getting closer to solving the puzzle.
