HUNTERS Episode 2 - RECAP 💎💎💎

Updated: May 5, 2020

(May Contain Spoilers)

This episode has some really wacky elements in it, which I wasn’t expecting because I didn’t think that was the style of the show so was quite surprised, but pleasantly, I enjoyed this additional comedic outbreak. In this episode Jonah (Logan Lerman) joins the hunter’s gang and decodes a cryptic clue from the wolf’s rubbish. This leads the Hunters to the next Nazi.

What We Learnt:

· Jonah joins the hunter’s group

· The Hunters gang consists of Meyer (Al Pacino), Joe (Louis Ozawa), Roxy (Tiffany Boone), Lonny (Josh Radnor), Sister Harriet (Kate Mulvany), Mindy (Carol Kane) and Murray (Saul Rubinek).

· Jonah decodes a cryptic message from The Wolf’s trash

· Meanwhile Millie (Jerrika Hinton) who is looking into the NASA lady murder starts to uncover the Nazi links and tells Detective Sommers (Tramell Tillman)

· Millie goes to the dead NASA Nazi’s brother house to find out he died in a car accident and finds he has Nazi memorabilia too

· Travis (Greg Austin) arrives in Florida to find out who is killing the Nazi’s

· Travis goes to Sommers house and kills Sommers and his family and finds out about Millie

· The Colonel (Lena Olin) blackmails a senator, taking his photograph whilst having gay sex

· The Hunters find out about Karl Holstedder the next Nazi on their list and go to his house

· The Hunters do a live trail convicting Karl of the murder of millions of Jews

· Lonny discovers a hidden room in Karl’s recording studio which is a broadcast room and the live feed was a song

· The Hunter’s group go into the room to try and decode the message and leave Jonah with Karl, who tricks him into getting him water and then breaks the glass using it to escape

· Joe shoots Karl to let Jonah go and they all the Hunters are annoyed and think Jonah is a child

· The phone rings in the broadcast room and Meyer answers but doesn’t say anything and they think the Nazi’s know and take what they can and escape

· Meyer tries to convince Jonah that it was for the best and revenge

· Meyer asks Jonah to attend a religious event to pray for his grandmother, but he asks if he can pray for Karl as well

· Jonah starts to hear a ringing in his ears like Karl said he would

I enjoyed this episode for its dynamic comedic interludes, which is very different. It was frustrating when Jonah had the sympathy towards the Nazi, despite being told the torture that Karl had done himself. There is something to be said about Jonah’s character all together and suggest whether the series would be better if it focused on the Hunter’s gang more than Jonah personal storyline. I can’t wait to see how the series progresses.
