Hanna - Episode 5 RECAP 💎💎💎

(May Contain Spoilers)

This episode went a lot more emotional and started to come away from the original essence of what Hanna (Esme Creed-Miles) is, or what it felt like it was, which was coming of age- action. I feel like this episode played more on the coming of age segment by honing in on the relationship Hanna has with Sophie (Rhianne Barreto). I look forward to more of a built up of action again.

What We Learnt:

• Hanna went to Britain in the truck and stayed in Sophie’s caravan in her garage

• Erik (Joel Kinnaman) after he was shot, he was seen to a doctor that the old army friends knew

• Marissa (Mireille Enos) was asked to go to take a break from work and see a physiatrist.

• After the last episode revealed Marissa killed and burnt all the baby’s bodies from the experiment, we learnt in this episode she has a serious breakdown because of it

• Sophie has a crush on Anton (Gamba Cole)

• Sophie and Hanna go to a party, where Hanna meet Aton and they exchange sex eyes

• Anton invite Sophie and Hanna to a cinema night at his

• Sophie’s mum, Rachel (Lyndsey Marshal) and dad, Tom (Phaldut Sharma) are going through a tough time and the dad slept out in the caravan as Hanna hides on the floor

• Sophie get grounded because the caravan was in a state

• Hanna goes to Anton’s movie night without Sophie

• The CIA discover Dieter (Benno Furmann) had something to do with Erik so went to visit him

• Jerome (Khalid Abdalla) went to Dieter house and said they would kill his children so gave up Erik’s location

• Sophie gets upset by her parents and so takes Hanna, Anton, and Sophie’s friend Dan (Leo Glanagan) to a trip in the woods in the camper van

• Marissa finds Hanna in pictures tagged with Sophie on Instagram so travels to England

• Erik is found and gets caught!

• Hanna and Anton start getting intimate (not known if they had sex although he put a condom on) whilst Sophie was passed out in the van.

I am predicting that Hanna and Anton will wake up in the woods barley clothed but Sophie will find them and get mad at Hanna because she broke girl code - although Hanna won’t be aware of that-. Hanna will run away but Sophie will contact the police to tell them where Hanna is. I don’t know what will happen to Erik and I am not sure how this episode relates to the wider series or how it progressed the story on that much, I felt this episode stopped the pace of the series and with no action felt it lacked motion.
