British comedy at it’s finest. I loved this series, it was such a hoot and considering I have been watching a lot of dramas it was nice to watch something a little different and this is what I needed. A feel-good British comedy series with female leads.
Kathy’s (Ellie White) dad has just died from a heart attack at his own surprise birthday party, at the funeral however it is revealed that the dad had a second family who he was having an affair with every Tuesday. Kat (Lauren Socha) is a northern, dim girl who has a big heart and is over the moon when she finds out that she has a sister and only days apart between then. The series follows the Katherine’s as they get better acquainted and are building up towards Kathy’s wedding to Marcus (Amit Shah) however, Marcus has been cheating on Kathy with his secretary by sending her dick pics which he accidentally sent to Kathy!
The series has some authentic and relatable scenarios, like Kathy dealing with OCD at her pre wedding party because she needs to get rid of a scratch on her wall. Kat, however is always there with her and will do anything and is truly and beautiful character, at first you think she is just a dumb girl with not much going on, but she is a caring individual and very loyal and thoughtful. A funny, feel-good series that will have you chuckling away and best watched with your sibling!
